Welcome to the new #RHG website! Redding Hiking Group was created to get people in the Redding area more active and into the Outdoors! In our region there is so much to explore and see! #RHG gets you in shape with regularly scheduled hiking punctuated with longer monthly Area Trip Hikes! For Summer Session 2022 #RHG is still free to join!

About Me

Hi, #RHG originally began as a hiking group for fellow Hot Shot Firefighters ~2005. In Fall 2017 I opened the group to more people while studying at Shasta College. #RHG has been growing ever since. I am a Bachelors Student now @ Cal Poly and am still developing fitness lifestyles with #RHG on a regional scale.
